That the Financial Statements and Variance Projections as of May 31, 2023 for Social Services be approved.

That the Social Services Committee endorse a letter written by the Warden to support passing and implementation of Bill C-22 with Senate amendments; and That this be forwarded for consideration to the City of Guelph, and also sent to local MPs and the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion.

That the Overview of the Ontario Works Department presentation by Stuart Beumer, Director, Ontario Works be received for information.

That County of Wellington Project No. CW2023-018 tender to replace windows and doors at 232 Delhi Street as specified be awarded to Mapleton Exteriors Ltd., of Drayton at the total tendered amount of $330,610.21 exclusive of HST @ 13%; and That the funding for this project be approved as set out in the Financial Summary; and That staff be authorized to issue the Purchase Order for the contract; and That the Warden and Clerk be authorized to sign the construction agreements.

That the Overview of the Ontario Works Department report be received for information.

That report, 2023 Ontario Works Service Plan Addendum and Agreement be received for information.

That report, 2019-2023 Ontario Works Caseload Profile be received for information.

That the report, Modernization and Agreement Renewal of Dental Benefits Administration be received for information; and That the Warden and County Clerk be authorized to enter into an agreement with Accertaclaim Servicorp Inc. for the administration of Ontario Works adult emergency dental services subject to review by the County Solicitor.

That the Housing Services 2022 Housing and Homelessness Plan Annual Report be approved for submission to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

That the report #HS-23-07 2022 COCHI Funding Update be received for information; and That delegated authority be provided to the CAO and the Social Services Administrator, subject to the approval of the County Solicitor for approving commitments made by the County of Wellington under the 2023 Canada-Ontario Community Housing Initiative programme; and That, based on the commitments made under delegated authority, that Housing staff complete all necessary Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing reporting for the projects and draft and execute all necessary agreements related to the funding.
